Can someone list all the current carfloat operations in the USA and Canada?
There’s one in Vancouver, BC, connecting the mainland city to Vancouver Island (?) as well as one left in New York City.

I seem to recall that there is or was also one across the lower/ northeasterly St. Lawrence River, from either Matane or Rimouski, Quebec on the southeasterly shore to the iron ore roads on the north shore such as the Cartier Railway and the Quebec North Shore and Labrador Rwy., and others of that sort - Quebec Iron and Titanium, Wabush, etc. But there’s not a huge volume of those movements - probably mostly for equipment deliveries and exchange, such as new locomotives . And for heaven’s sakes, don’t bet anything on my recollection of that.

And Norfolk Cape Charles covered in TRAINS a few years ago. Glad to know about the Canadian ones.
There was one between Prince Rupert B.C. and the Alaska Railroad. On the Alaska Railroad I think their marine ferry operated at either Homer or Seward. Someone here probably can fill me on exactly where it is in Alaska.
I know you asked for ‘current’ ones, but I was a little surprised at the extent of this list of articles on mostly now-defunct ones, so I thought I’d put it here for general interest and information:

HUGE and fascinating website - pretty-well indexed, too - with photos and lots of information on the carfloats, industrial, terminal, and “offline” (not connected) railroads in and around New York City:

Paul North has pretty got this Marine Railroading thing covered. SHEEEEESH! [:'(]
This link is to a corporate website that provides a wide range of services. The point in posting this is that the website has a number of photos in a slide show that advances across the screen. About the third picture from the end of the slide show show an excelent photo of a Marine Ferry. The load is both rail cars and semi-trailers http://www.seaspan.com/
