I’m looking for information on early Marklin Gauge 1 tinplate. So far I’ve only been able to find bits on the web.
Thanks

I’d be happy to help you out, but there is literally tons of things to know about Marklin gauge 1 tinplate trains. Could you perhaps be a bit more specific as to what you would like to know?
Hello Sask Tinplater! I’d like to be able to ID some pieces that I have. I’d also like to find a list with model numbers/names of the prewar stuff…maybe repro or scanned literature or catalogs. I can post pics of what I have now.
Thanks!

If you could post pictures of what you have, I might be able to identify them for you.
Marklin made a HUGE variety of trains back in the prewar years (they still do now). There are many different books out there that go into great detail on them and there are also reproduction catalogues available. Try looking on ebay for these.
