Marten Transport trailers?

Hello all, have Marten 53’ reefer trailers (HO) been produced by anyone? I come up empty after doing some searches, so I’m guessing the answer is no. If anyone can help me here I’d 'preciate it, thanks.

I would guess that if its not on Ebay then they haven’t been produced.

Marten Transport doesn’t appear to be a popular carrier name for model reproduction. You could make the decals yourself and apply them to a generic 53" Great Dane or Wabash reefer.

I did find a company that makes promoptional HO scale trucks. PromotionalTrucks.com

Have you searched the 1/87 Scale Vehicle Manufacturers Directory?

i’m not gonna swear to this but i think A-Line has trucking company decals. not sure if they have a website or not. you may even try walthers.

hope this helps

Buy an A-line 53 ft trailer a thermo-king unit, also A-line. use a photo edit program to clean up the picture below and print your own decals. I uploaded the picture from my photobucket for you. I do all my own trucks, I don’t buy pre-decorated units at all. I’m not trying to be a smarty , Just do it yourself it’s more fun.

Gappleg, what color blue did you use for the greyhound bus.

I looked at a lot of pictures, for hours, kept mixing blue white and a little grey till it matched enough pictures to make me happy. Took alot of time, I spent a week doing the bus. It’s an MEK bus from Germany, (not cheap either ) It was kind of a thing from my childhood, rode a lot of sceiniccruisers when I was young.

Did you do yours all yourself ? By the way I’ll be in Vegas in Nov. I own a timeshare at PoloTowers. Any good hobbyshops in town ?

Hobby shops here are mostly RC car and planes. I have the MEK also will be starting on it soon, I guess I will use my photos also.Thanks.

Thanks guys; GAPPLEG, that is some nice work!
