Sounds great, I would drive the miles to ride it. Have to be mass marketed with various tie ins to the area towns. That could be huge boost to the PA rail museum too.
Many years ago a steam tourist train ran from Berlin to West Ocean City. Are those tracks now gone ?

To Mr. Truffer I can say the tracks are long gone although I can’t remember what year they were taken up. I’m glad this is a strong possibility to see the light of day. Any opportunity to bring excursions to ANY part of the Eastern Shore is welcome news indeed, especially if it could be steam excursions
The people of the Strasburg RR will make it happen.

As someone who is from the Shore and rode the tracks before…Go For IT! Great idea!
I imagine trains would be boarded in Berlin. Per Google maps, the most viable location for a station might be on Harrison Ave. behind the library.
An interesting question would be if steam power would ever be used.
Hope the study leads to this happening.
