Do they have a way to connect the two stations in Boston yet?

Maps indicate that the line between Stoughton and Taunton was dismantled, and I see no trace of track on Google Earth. The article does not talk about rebuilding miles of track.

Quite correct, Mr. Thoms, while the state steadfastly refuses to bring the “real” western Massachusetts, the counties west of the Connecticut River, a piece of the passenger/commuter rail action. But they know where to find us at tax time.

Congrats to the Authority and the towns involved for committing to restore rail service to the South Coast of Massachusetts. Although a North Shore and New Hampshire advocate of B&MRR/MBTA rail, it is refreshing to someday hear them sounds of patrons “waiting gain on the platforms”…May their good fortune resonate up the Merrimack River route to New Hampshire, White River Junction, and Montreal again…Good luck!
