Wow, thats good news. Mass DOT actually thinking ahead, very rare for a govt agency. Good for the people that will use it.
Sounds good, but I wonder how the “consolidation of freight” will take more trucks off the road as the DOT spokesperson claims. If the freight cannot be moved when the shipper desires due to commuter passenger trains, then the shipper may opt to use trucks to get it to or from its destination when the shipper desires.
