BTW I was impressed by the professional, calm local TV coverage in northern FL and SC as opposed to that borderline hysterical cable channel coughWCcough with too many onscreen windows. NC was not covered well by online streaming and that area seemed to get the brunt of the rain and therefore flood damage; it may take a week for the rivershed to drain below flood stage. Hopefully the RRs faired better than I-95!!

I’m hearing that all that rain that fell is now making itself known - much flooding now occurring around that area as the water makes its way down from the hills.

TWC has gone downhill since it was taken over by a major network. While the “zomygosh” factor has always been there, it used to be more professional. Now it’s all about grabbing attention.

Have to agree. Less about weather and more about entertainment and ‘the show’.
