I thought I could only buy the article not the entire issue from MR?

Nope. You can buy the whole issue - i.e. if they still have it in stock. A May 2004 issue should, more than likely, be obtainable. I picked up a January 2004 issue a few months back that had a great aritcle on the interworkings and mechanisms of an Interlocking tower. (I would love to eventually model that on my layout someday.)

Anyway, don’t be surprised by the total cost, which will include shipping.
