Is Keolis a factor in these ‘savings’?

Absolutely they are (Keolis) they are a money making entity, if it were a govt entity, it wouldnt care because tax money is nobody’s money but it’s everybody’s money.

This isn’t Keolis related, they are not T employees. This is for the bus drivers, subway conductors, etc.

We also don’t have snow up to our arm pits and the temperature didn’t below freezing for 5 weeks!

Simple math, but if you still have that much over time, then you are still understaffed.

It was more of folks calling in sick and abuse of the federal medical leave requirements. One supervisor with base pay of $75 K approved his own OT and took in $300K one year. The foxes were guarding the henhouse. And retirement pensions are based not on base pay but total pay. That’s the kind of mismanagement that is slowly getting under control.
