Does the MBTA have any newer equipment, or is it all stoneage F and GP 40s. Any imfo or pictures are appreciated.[:)]
The MBTA runs a good bit of newer equipment – F40s, suitably modified, and some pretty decent cars. And they’re getting more. I don’t have any pictures, sorry… I’m assuming your thinking of the heavy rail end of it. The subway side (also heavy, really) has very up to date stuff, and the light rail side isn’t too shabby either (although there are a few PCCs still running out Matapan way!).
