ME Turnout

Instructions with the turnout indicated that the one piece frog has a pad that extends through the ties for attachment of a power wire. Although the instructions indicate the pad may be covered with plastic flash from the ties, I can’t seem to locate the pad. Can anyone tell me how to find the solder pad?
