Has anyone seen the huge train at the Chicago Science&Industry measuem?
If so, what do you think about it?

What’s a measueam? Anything like a museum?
The Museum layout is great! For what they set out to accomplish, a run from Chicago to Seattle, it is reaally a great work.
But…I remember the original layout in O gauge. That layout had more of a presence. You could see the trains, even from the second level.
I really think us Chicagoans have it good. We’ve got train layouts all over the place -
Navy Pier, Hancock Center, Botanic Gardens just to name a few.
The new layout covers the same space as the old layout. I’d like to see MSI rebuild the old layout next to the new one. Let visitors enjoy both scales. I’d go back and rebuild the older Oscale steamers. Send the airliner back to O’hare where it belongs.
It’ bigger than the old layout.
I hear that, I live 22 miles west of Chicago. Glen Ellyn, (Union Pacific Metra West Line). The only bad thing about that measuem, is that the lines once were a 5 1/2 houre wait. So all I have time for is all the train stuff. I have been wanting to see the coal-mine exhibit, but I allways get to that measuem by lunch. So my dad and I wait in line for 40 minutes, then we quit. For the underwater exhibit, their was a line that stretched as far as about Glenveiw![;)] Botanic gardens is beautiful. A little bit of a drive for me but beautiful
