I was just thinking, with the Great Scale Model Train Show scheduled to occur this weekend (June 25 & 26) in Timonium, MD, and the fact that many people on this forum are “regulars” there, this might be an excellent opportunity for some of us to meet each other!
A few online friends from the Mid-Atlantic region are already planning to meet there. We were going to put up a banner at one of the lunch tables around noon (so everybody will have a chance to snap up those early-morning “deals”[;)]) and hang out for maybe an hour or so. Anybody who wants to drop in and say hello may feel free to do so.
That sounds like fun, but I only went to the June show once, a couple years ago. The October and January ones are much bigger, so I usually wait until then. Going to do this more than once?
We always go to the October one. Haven’t been able to convince my father in law to go to any of the other ones, even though I’m the one doign the driving.
