Carl, received your note…as cold as it is going to be at Eola this weekend, I don’t think large crowds are very likely but I may be out in mid afternoon for a short while if the weather is not too awful bad, but I will see how it goes. If I am there hope to see you and the guys. Jim
I’ll try, too, same conditions as Jim.
Thanks, guys! I’m hoping things go fairly closely to what’s been planned. Of course, Amtrak schedule-keeping and UP crew management aren’t any problem, right?
Our car, PZ, is a salt-colored Dodge Stratus (light blue underneath).
praying amtrak is on time… matts looking forward to it!!!(some am I)
stay safe
Joe
I have Julie on speed-dial, and am checking timetables.
At this writing, Joe’s still waiting for the train in Bryan, so we’ll probably not be out to Eola until a bit later. It has to be this evening, because I work tomorrow and tomorrow nevening ight they have to head back (the trains usually leave on time, right?).
Julie isn’t sounding quite as perky as she used to…
Thanks for posting. I was going to head over at 3:30p.
Tonight might be tougher for me, Carl.
Post the Eola ETA when you know it, and I’ll see where I’m at. But either way, have fun.
