Message to MR Staff....I've lost my bottons

With the recent upgrade I was able to post pictures.

Many menmbers were having problems even different from each other.

While correcting those problems you took my picture posting buttons.

I can now only post a link to a picture.

With previous upgrades I could see reasons why but with this last one there are more negatives than pluses.

MR, Please give me my buttons.

  1. What browser are you using?

  2. Are you using “Reply” or “Quick Reply?” Quick reply, which is no quicker, does not have buttons. It also ignores line breaks, so your whole message runs together.

I’m using IE 10 but I tried Friefox and the buttons are there. Firefox must have taken them from IE [:D]

IE has always been frought with problems for me. I’ve been using Firefox for around six years.

Comparing what I see, IE10 or Chrome, looks exactly the same.

Quick reply - no buttons, regular reply, the full button menu is there, plus the dropdown menu items. Regardless of browser used.

I’ve noticed in the past that memebers using the same browser have had different experiences than others with the same browser. And some had problems regardless of the browser they tried.

For example when Video Plus first started I was one of the few that couldn’t watch the videos while others with the same browser didn’t have a problem. Firefox didn’t help me then. Likewise with the recent format change there were complaints from members using the same browser that I didn’t have. Why people have different experiences with the same browser is a mystery.

The puzzeling part of my recent problem is that I was able to post pictures with IE 10 but can’t now.

Learning from past history the problem will go away given enough time.
