Hi Guys ,i have a couple of dummy locos running around and i was woundering if any of you replaced the plasic wheel sets with metal ones? And where can i find them ? H.O Athreans

Yes I have and it is no problem. You can purchase Northwest Shortline wheels, or find someone who has changed out the metal in powered to nickle silver. I have a bunch around so if you are interested contact me off list and we could talk. Depending on the brand you may have to make a plastic tube to hold each axle half and isolate rails from each other.
