I just perused the Walthers new announcements, and noticed something odd/cool/different. They are now doing 4 of their Budd styles in “stainless” presumably the same as the ATSF, in 4-6 names, including SP, NYC, I know Rapido said that for now they weren’t going to do mettalizedcars outside of the Canadian, so that things all matched. I like that idea. I also don’t like the idea of having to rebuild a consist of Budd cars to look really cool when I just finished the consist, and no I haven’t completely decided I would or would not Alclad them, Antonio. 
That being said though, I am at least intriguied. What about you guys?
I got a set of Walthers Budd cars in VIA colours and they look great as a set but put them on the layout with my other stuff and they look kind of toy like. Good just not great. If they do come out with a “metalized” version of them in VIA colours then I and a lot of other Canadian modellers would be interested. I’ve been hearing rumours though that Rapido might be coming out with them in present day VIA colours as well as a few others. Don’t know how true it is but if it were I’d be willing to wait for them. [:-^] Jason???
