method for making grass

I have made this really good method for making grass. all you need is fine sawdust, some water, some newspaper, some means of seperating the grass from water, lunchbox, or simliar container, newspaper, powrded food dye (green, naturally), and a sunny day.

method:
mix up some green dye with water. about 2 teaspoonfuls.

pour this into lunchbox with sawdust. add water till flodded. strain, saving as much dye/water as possible.

repeat procedure 2 times. more if you want, but the grass gets pretty off colour.

put the straind sawdust on the newspaper and put out in sun to dry.

wait till it has dried. you can for a varied grass effect mix them all up togheter. this means you will have light patches, and darker patches.

then apply to your layout. that is all that there is to it.

please let me know if you found this receipie useful.

that is all there is to it.

But it won’t look like grass

Ok, let me clarify that that grass = lawn. as in well maincured posh peoples lawn. but i understand your point.

I bet it looks as good as the Woodland Scenics shaker of turf colors. My daughter asked me before why I don’t just use sawdust and I had to explain to her that I have no sawdust. [8D]
