Metra rebuilding F40-PH units????

I seem to recall recently hearing about Metra having some (#?) of its older F40-PH units rebuilt. Does anybody recall or know where this is being done, to how many units, if they are being rebuilt in-kind or not and if they will return in the same or the new paint scheme? Thanks

The units are being rebuilt by Progress Rail at its facility in Mayfield,Kentucky. They are being rebuilt in-kind, no microprocessor packages or anything. The first units should be ready for return to Metra if they haven’t already.

Thanks Bryan, do you happen to know what paint scheme is being applied to them?
