Has anybody heard anything definiative about the circumstances surrounding the derailment Sunday afternoon of the Metra train on the near South Side of Chicago on the Rock Island line. There were two MP36PH-3S units on the train (unusual I think as I have never seen a train with more than one, and if there are two units one is usually an F40) I wonder if we might have another SDP40F derailment scenario on our hands? Only time will tell.
