Metro-North ‘Cosmopolitan’ cars to be retired
Weren’t these cars called Metropolitans?
Sorry to say, but regardless of the improvements the new cars brought to the RR, the old cars were much more visually pleasing.
@Kenneth Musante: No, the LIRR and the Metro North Harlem and Hudson electric trains are known as Metropolitans. The Metro North cars that run in Connecticut are the Cosmopolitans. Sorry.
