I think it is great to keep the geeps going. I have always thought the GP-35 is a good looking work horse.

How far/long can it run with battery power? Will it be useful in GCT environs, if need be? That’s asking a lot, but… Of course, the FL9s NEVER ran on Diesel power there! Har!

Where did this article talk about running the GP35 into Grand Central under battery control? Maybe there is a “battery jog” to allow an engine into a shop, but not two plus miles along Park Ave from 96th ST to GCT @ 42nd St.

What did they install for a prime mover? Can’t believe the V-16 567D3 w/turb was retained?
