BNSF, Amtrak and Sound Transit: take note, please. There may be something here of use in the battle against mud slides between Seattle and Everett. Always useful to see what the other guy is doing and consider it in solving your own problems when the circumstances are similar.
Different problem, Mr. Sheck. This is the ground eroding away from under the track. Seattle’s problem is erosion from above falling on the track.
This is among the most scenic stretches of railroad in the US, at least the eastern US. Glad to see it getting some TLC.
