Am sure that Mr. Tucker didn’t mean a slur on the ethnicity of the good people of East LA, so why didn’t the moderator of the Trains online board catch this posting that obviously is NOT about the Metro Gold Line. Ironic that it is a much shorter north-south shot from East Pasadena to South El Monte than the miles-long horseshoe proposed with extending the Gold Line there from the southwest.
John, LA Metro is building a connection between light rail lines. When it is finished the Gold line will be split. Half will connect to the Expo Line, currently being extended, and half to the Blue Line, so trains will run from Pasadena to Santa Monica and from East LA to Long Beach.
