There is no such thing as “mayor” or Los Angeles County. Antonovich is a member of the LA County Board of Supervisors. Fact checking, people. Use The Google. It’s your friend.
Why not give a discount on the long distance fare, it would make more people want to buy it also curb the cheaters. price per mile would be less making it a better value.
At one time to the check for proof of payment and cite those who did not produce a ticket. With fines being expensive for the scofflaws, I would think
k that would be a win-win.
Mike Friedman Correctly points out there is no Mayor of Los Angeles COUNTY, but the city still has one! I suppose the pilot program was introduced because of so many complaints about the homeless hanging around the train station in Lancaster, and with that, they city should be obliged to keep it open. The city should also look into ways to curb them from coming into town where motorists drop them off along highway off ramps and they are holding up cardboard signs.
