Anything in this for a commuter rail network? Some MARTA stations are showing their age and could use a little sprucing up.
My wife was recently in Atlanta for business at the CDC and rode MARTA from Hartsfield Airport to the opposite end of that line (Dunwoody station?). There, a hotel shuttle regularly picks up and drops off its guests who use MARTA. I found it interesting that a hotel shuttles guests to/from a rapid transit station, but it makes sense when you consider the ease of access MARTA gives to the airport. I’m sure many Atlantans can see the value in additional transit investment.
