I think that $27,000,000 in rental income is far more important and beneficial than open space.
This after closing one restaurant to turn the space over for an Apple Store.
Hmm, all this rental income doubling and tripling. What the public doesn’t know is how much real estate the MTA actually owns and how heavily a supposed subway & bus company that doesn’t know how to run 2 (I mean 3) railroads is involved in this business raking in more than one could ever imagine, but yet they always cry poverty and try to blame labor for this thus turning the public against itself and it’s employees while squeezing more money out of the public and government subsidies. If one only knew the money they spend on unnecessary things not even related with running actual public transportation.
