Hi to all.

I need help in trying to figure you the MFG. of this engine. A friend of mine went to a estate sale and picked up a very large collection of ho equipment. while looking over everything I saw that he had a ge-9 or an ac4400 in the chicago northwestern colors that i ealy liked so he gave it to me as he had a little to much in the way of cnw. Here is the problem. The engine is missing all the trim such as a exhaust stack on the roof, rallings, couplers lighting and who knows what else. OH the most important this is no box so I am going blind trying to find anything on this unit. The only mark is the unit # 8651.

any help will be great so I will THANK-YOU in advance

This is a C44-9W, CNW, road number 8651. This particular model was made by Athearn. I found the picture on eBay. If it’s an Athearn, you should be able to get parts.
