He does - or at least, he did. The Santa Fe Southern Railway:
It wasn’t California, It was the Santa Fe Southern in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I don’t know if he is still involved though.
Didn’t he once have an interest in the Grand Canyon Railroad? Understand he worked as either a brakeman or a fireman for the C&NW while attending college, sparking his railroad interests.
And whatever became of him, anyway, haven’t seen him in anything for a good while.
last I saw of him he was doing public service announcements for operation lifesaver and america by rail videos.

You’re correct Chad,and to the best of my knowledge from what I’ve read about
him,he does indeed still have an interest in that R.R.
Besides that and his interest with “Operation Lifesaver”,he’s a Rail Lobbyist,
a long time model railroader,and a spokesperson for the “World’s Greatest Hobby Program”. He just had an article published in the Feb. '06 issue of MR and IIRC,
achieved a Model of the Month Award from MR several years ago.
