Micro Engineering Flex track

I have a stack of Micro Engineering code 83 flex track with brown ties and weathered rails. In my opinion it looks the best of any flex track I’ve seen with nice thin rail, varying tie spacing, etc. Only problem is that it doesn’t want to flex easily. Atlas flex track you can wiggle back and forth and it goes into nice gentle curves, but with the Micro Engineering, once you flex it, it’s bent in that shape. Any hints or tips on working with this brand?

Is the fact that it doesn’t wiggle around like Atlas flextrack a bad thing? If you don’t want it, I’ll give ya $10 for it. [:)]

It is a bit of a pain to work with if you’re used to Atlas. Once you get onto it it’s fine.

Yes,

That is the drawback because it doesn’t flex easily into nice flowing curves… However, it is nice to have it stay at the curvature you bend to once you get it set. The trick is keep the tie spacing correct. If you start bending it and it looks a little uneven work on moving the ties around and it will even out…As the othetr posters have said, you have to keep working it and it will come out…
