Can anyone tell me the width (perpendicular to the track) at the base of the different stories of the ME trestle?
I need to make sure I leave space to fit it in without running off the edge of the benchwork.

Pretty sure you are referring to Micro Engineering and not the decal people. [swg]
Width at the first level down is 2-1/4", width at second level down is 3-1/4" and width at the base is just a bit under 4-1/2"
Mark.
Yes, I was. Decals would be far too flimsy to hold up the track. [:)] Those senior moments seem to be coming more frequently lately. I had just looked at the ME website trying to find the dimensions before posting the question.
Thanks for figuring out what I was asking and providing the answer.
The dimensions of the tower can or vary by the actual height. if you use the full height and not cut down a section, they are about 3" wide and 4" long. A 30’ girder section sits atop the tower. Most tines I have found that the full height is far too high and a substancial elevation change. I cut the lower section off for this Steel viaduck just for this reason.
I am away from the layout, so am only estimating the sizes. You do need to calculate the full height and elevation change. I would allow for at least 5-6" of clearance anyway. I don’t know the svenery configuration as to the spanse you are working with.
