I’ve been away from GR for a while and plan to build a new RR…Can someone tell me what happenned to ME Track?

ME track? Sorry, before my time! Lots of good choices out there today, so nothing to worry about. You’ve got pre-fab, flex (you put together) and hand laid options in brass, stainless steel, nickle-silver, and aluminum, in European or US prototype.

What are you planning to build? Maybe we can direct you to a good choice of track based on what you want to do with your railroad.

I thought they were still making track for G .
My layout was mostly NS code 250 G-Track. Its been operating 8 years now .
They just do not advertise I suppose .

Micro-Engineering still makes sectional and flex track for Large Scale with NS, or aluminum rail in codes 250 and 320. As ccgrc said, they don’t advertise. It is available by mail order.

I am planning to build a very large (first stage, ~ 200 metres track) GR in O Scale, and am plannming to use battery power with R/C and aluminium track. For me, something a little smaller than Code 250 would be right scale, but should I go for Code 250 for durability/ruggedness reasons? Where can I get aluminium rail in Code 250 or smaller?

WElcome to the forum. Feel free to correspond via email with me. I’m using ME code 148 from BKS in stainless steel. I too am using R/C.

Also, Old Pullman has code 205.

Code 148 would be more “scale” however for O gauge.
