Micro engineering vs Peco code 83 track

Which flextrack is the superior in detail and realism once ballasted and weathered. in the past i have used peco code 83 and i have not yet had any experience with the micro engineering.

Does any one have any photos they would like to share?

I think the Micro Engineering track is superior, particularly if you are doing fine scale modeling. I have used a lot of it for N scale (code 70) and really liked it. It takes some getting used to because it holds its shape when formed into a curve. But it is also more delicate to work with.

Now that I am into HO scale, I am using Atlas and Peco, whichever happens to be cheaper at the time I buy it. When the A & P is ballasted, it looks very good and the coarser details do not stand out. I also find that the curves are smoother flowing because the track wants to revert to being straight all by its self.

Can’t address Peco track, haven’t used it. My layout is MicroEngineering and handlaid track (rails spiked to ties) in code 100, 83 and 70. Micro Engineering is the best in my opinion, and on my layout, my opinion is what counts. Have used Atlas in the past, too flexible for my tastes.
