For PC?

I’m certain Microsoft will release it for PC. And only PC.

It’ll be another year of “Microsoft Train Simulator has encountered an error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience.”

I perfer Trainz. It doesn’t encounter errors and need to close.

Trainz has some errors that do NOT notify their users…

not so optimal physics and weird signalling…

And with a bit of bright fiddeling, MSTS1 is pretty stable. (At least we know when it is about to crash

Unfortunately MSTS1 can’t handle LOADS of good add ons that are available. You need to trick around (train store) to get it running properly. (no-one expected that MSTS would do THAT good)

It’s be another year of exiting waiting… but sure will be worth the wait!

I have looked for Trainz 2006 everywhere but could not seem to find it.

Trainz can be bought any where…E-Bay or Wal-Mart where I got mine for 50 bucks

I have looked at Wal-mart with no luck.

Try Best Buy - they often have have it.

Maybe Microsoft could release it for X-Box 360 - it could look very sweet with a 360 and a widescreen HD TV. (Why not, Railroad Tycoon was released for the Playstation 1).

Ok, I’ll look.

[#ditto] [:P]

WCL…i got my Trainz 2006 at Bestbuy for $20 =P

you probabley want to… [banghead]

I just hope it will run on XP and not vista

Me Too.

Well it aint lookin good for XP people cause i heard its gonna be only for vista

our local wally-world had trainz fer 14.99…i paid 19.99 before xmas…[banghead]

might it have a reason why Trainz2006 is SO cheap at those chains? (MSTS1 is cheap too, but way older! and there are LOADS of good add ons available for MSTS)

I know from a lot of people that expected physics / reality / serious gameplay still are simulating around with MSTS1 and are pretty happy about it. The available add ons make the platform MSTS1 coming really alive!

Trainz 2006 is GREAT if you don’t have the place available for a model railroad… But not if you’re a serious railroader (or realroader?)

cheers,

plok

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Any word yet on when the newest edition will be released? I guess if I want it though, I’m going to have to upgrade to Vista - boo…

There are updates by the MS crew posted over at www.railroadforums.com/forum in the Train Simulators & Games sub-forum.
