The railroad tie crossing is an interesting detail.
The PA 1 is fantastic! (Can you tell I’m a PA 1 fan?)
Darrell, quiet…for now
The scene looks awesome so far!
One thing I noticed…Is the “stop” line before the crossing supposed to be yellow or white? Here in Georgia, I think it would be white.
Just my observations. Your road looks great! I can see that crossing in my youth, where I launched a 1970 Plymouth Fury station wagon over a crossing like that, and did over $1,000 worth of damage, and didn’t even bend a body panel!

No One up for mid week photo fun ?
I’d like to post pics, but I’ve got nothing for this week. I’ve been working as a temp so I haven’t had much time to do anything with trains.
But I will post some Madness!! [:-,]

I feel the same way i think im going to spend about 3-4 weeks on this small section ,and lay it back see what i can do with a 2-4 inch section in 3 week weeks
Carl…
DCC control bus wiring just isn’t photogenic. A couple of new (well, 1960’s new) engines should be on the big brown truck next week - maybe then.
Practice, practice, practice. These are more like practice shots, trying to get decent MR photos out of the digital camera. This time I put a desk lamp on the pink foam behind me, and turned off the flash. Still some problems with the fuzzies, but a bit better.
Here’s a shot of my first foray into “natural” scenery:

and here I got up-close-and-personal with my P2K SW-1:
