Military movements are fairly common. The equipment belonging to units being deployed for training at other than their home base or overseas frequently moves by rail. Armor is often moved by rail because of its sheer weight.
The equipment being moved can range from tactical vehicles to armor to containers.

Went on trip same day. Train was all trucks, Humvees, couple of Jeeps, various equipment trailers Had hope some one might get a picture. The one puzzler is all vehicles were traveling on train with vehicle front facing forward Cannot understand dispatching a train full of vehicles with windshield facing forward. Waste of taxpayer’s money repairing windshields ?J
