What time period are you looking for? N scale is close to the military wargaming scale of 10mm, and there’s a lot of ACW stuff available in that scale. For 20th century military equipment, there’s less available, but you can still find the basics (trucks, jeeps, Shermans, Abrams, M113, MLRS)

GHQ is probably your best bet, with a modern M-1 Abrams MBT, and several 1941 vehicles that can be used for military applications. They used to make a Sherman, but it looks like it’s been dropped from the catalog.

Walther’s has a military section in their catalogs, but it’s hard to find online. I only come up with nine items, but I know that they’ve got much more in N. You’ll have to get a hardcopy of their catalog.

Other than these two searches, I’d start Googling wargaming miniature sites, looking for 10mm or N scale military hardware. There are a few small resin manufacturers who make lots of WWII equipment (I’ve painted a bunch of them for my father’s N scale layout) but I can’t remember the name of the company.

I remember finding some military stuff-- trucks etc when I was building my N scale blimp base railroad about three years ago. I believe I got it from a place accessible on the web at www.thefreightyard.com although I got it by snail postal mail order-- didn’t have net access at that time.

They had N scale white metal models of trucks, jeeps, tanks, etc. I was able to use a set of DRIVERS-- military figures made in sitting position for jeeps etc. I bought another military figure set but it was all battlefield positions-- prone firing rifles etc. not at all usable for a scene of routine life aboard a base.

I used some civilian fork lift, gasoline tanker and industrial tractor models to supplement the specifically military items.

Thank you all. I think I found some great stuff.
