I was off work yesterday, on the way to the local post office (Cottage Grove MN) I was quite surprised to see Milw 261 and train rolling north on the old Milwaukee Chicago-Twin Cities mainline about 2 p.m.[:O] (Wish I’d had the videocam with me.) There isn’t anything on their website about any movements until October, maybe this was some sort of break in run or something??
261 was in the Quad Cities check out other threads about the two Chinese QJ’s
Ah so !! That makes sense, it’s ‘home’ would be just a few miles north of me in St.Paul. Glad I saw it but still wish I had known about it in advance, it was a sunny day and there are several good spots I could have photographed it from.
