Hi Larry,
I did some quick looking thru one of my MILW books. The Southwest Limited began in 1903 after they completed the KC cut-off thru the Quad Cities to Rutledge(Ottumwa area). The name was dropped in 1955 and passenger service ended on the KC line in April 1958.
For a time a connecting Pullman car was carried from Cedar Rapids to Ottumwa on the ex main line by local train, part of which is now the Crandic line to Amana and the IAIS connection.
