Milwaukee Public Television seeks funding for next season of Tracks Ahead program
For some reason, WVIA the local PBS station has not had Tracks Ahead for a while now. I always wonder why they no longer carry it, and thought it was no longer produced.
My PBS station rarely carries it anymore. The hobby shops that sponsored it, seem to be less prosperous than before. Maybe we can blame it on the internet.
In recent years I’ve only ever seen it in a dead slot on Sunday afternoon on one of my PBS stations (I’m in Canada and our provider offers three). The same season over and over and over. The production quality seems lower than it was during the early years.
