Hi,

I regularly see photos in Model Railroader of Athearn ACF Centerflow hoppers decorated for Milwaukee, Racine & Troy. I’d really like to add one of these to my collection :slight_smile:

Can one of the MR editors let us know how to go about decorating one?

Colin - Am I correct in assuming this is the sort of MR&T covered hopper you are referring to, or are you talking about a 4-bay?

Also be advised that an MR&T PS-2 covered hopper is being offered as a part of Athearn’s MR 75th Anniversary series.

Hi,

I was thinking about the 4-bay version. I have lots with 3 bays as these were more common on the prototype. Hence my desire to add a ‘prototypical’ 4-bay version. :slight_smile:

But these look very good too, and the decals would be the same.

I’d be willing to make my own decals if necessary, but I’d need to get hold of the font and artwork somehow.

Oh – where can I find more information on the PS-2 hopper? Was it advertised in the magazine? If so, I missed it!
