My good pal Jim Drennan caught the engine as it visited Sabula Iowa on it’s trip down to Boone to run with the two new Chineese 2-8-2’s. Pictures here, enjoy. Please cut and paste the url, because I can’t figure out how to make the links work. I tried [url*] [/url*] http://upload.pbase.com/lumixfz30/milwaukee_road_261
Jerry,
For the image embedding thing to work, you need to insert the URL to the JPG image file itself between the tags “[IMG*]” and “[/IMG*]”. Here is the first one in your set; when I was viewing it, I right-clicked on the image and selected “Properties” from the dropdown menu. That showed the exact URL of the JPG file which I put in here. Some people may have trouble doing this because of browser compatibility issues…
[LATER EDIT:] Never mind, I did them all (too much time on my hands I guess…)

Thanks, but then why did it come up in your quote??? I wanted to link to the gallery page so others could view the rest of the pictures posted there. I’m using IE7, that might be the problem… Thanks again for your help.
YEP! IE7 is the culprit, several people have mentioned this in other threads.
I can erase the other links, if you think they take too long to load on dial-up (?)
Kent, thanks again. Another reason I wanted to link the gallery as the picture sizes can be adjusted by the user. I have no problem with the sizes you posted, maybe others do. At least they’re getting “exposure”… I might run both IE6 and 7 so’s I can post this type of stuff. I only have the problem on this forum. I really like the tabbed browsing in a familiar format with IE7, unlike Firefox. I hate netscape!
Man, the 261 looks great! That’s the next steamer I wanna go see…
