I ran across a document in an antique shop issued by the Milwaukee Road about a hostler who allowed too much smoke to come out of this engine while it was in the terminal. Apparently, there was a rule against that at one time. The document is dated 1915 and the engine number was 705. I checked some on line resources to find out what class this engine was, but they did not list them by engine number. Does anyone know?
This engine was a class H7 4-4-0 type built by Rhode Island in 1882. The original number was #618. It was renumbered in 1899 to #505, and renumbered again in 1912 to #705. It was scrapped in 1927. This information is from Appendix II of the John Tigges book - Milwaukee Road Steam Power.

Thanks Jim, I appreciate your time and trouble looking that up.
