Nice for Amtrak passengers if they get the money.

According to Trains Newswire Milwaukee approved the $20 million and this extension will become reality.

Let’s hope they don’t screw things up the way Atlanta did their streetcar, so far at least.

I think with each step they take they are slowly building ridership on Chicago- Milwaukee Amtrak Corridor. I wish they would promote more rail charters and package trips to Milwaukee and Wisconsin Dells. Two big missed opportunities. Wisconsin Dells would even make sense in Winter with it’s Cross Country ski trails.
