I just purchased a Minitrix N Scale 2-10-0 with the intent of kit bashing a PRR i1sa out it. One of the most glaring problems with this engine is that the steam pipes don’t line up with the steam chests. Have any of you attempted to fix that particular problem and if so how did you do it?

Photos of the locomotive with its shell on and off can be found on the spookshow website.

This is from the model train magazine index. I remembered this article for some reason, even though I don’t model the PRR. It seemed like a neat idea at the time.
