can anyone tell me if the Mississippi & Skuna Valley Railroad is still operating, or has it shut down? I heard about a year ago it had suspended operations.
Patriot Rail acquired the line from Weyerhaeuser, but the line was already shut down. The property was gifted to the two counties the line runs through. Here is Patriot’s statement on this transaction:
