We have been having allot of problems in the Chicago area after the recent storms. Areas along the Des Plains river are still flooded. These storms have also played havoc with rail traffic in the Midwest.
This morning’s Memphis paper had a report that two barges were unaccounted for. Perhaps, they were like some soldiers who were reported missing in action–they ran?
I have been seeing coal trains in NS’s Normal Il yard, and was thinking these were rerouted due to flooding in the area and along the rivers. Does anyone know?
