Does anybody know what happened to the Missouri-St. Louis Railroad Co.? People tell me UP absorbed it and they also tell me that Mopac absorbed it. Tell me what year it occured to. Thanks.[;)][8D]
Are you thinking of the Minneapolis and St. Louis, which was merged into the Chicago and North Western in 1960 ? There was also the Missouri-Illinois Railroad which had been owned by the Missouri Pacific since 1929 until they merged it in 1978.

Merger of the M&STL into C&NW occured on November 1, 1960. There is a good account of why the merger was necessary in the new book about the M&STL “Tootin Louie” by Don Hofsommer.
