Mixing Magic Water

Anyone have any ideas about mixing up a micro-batch of magic water? I am talking a volume less than an eyedropper full.

You have answered your own question. Use two eyedroppers,(or cocktail straws, to mix the two liquids. I am curious as to why you want such a small quantity, unless you are repairing a dent in your existing “water”. Bob Hahn My cascading “Magic Water” river.

I have a couple of very small puddles I want to fill.

I use Envirotex, but I usually wait until I’m doing a bigger pour elsewhere on the layout to do my ditches and puddles.

I thought of that Mr. B, but I am concentrating on scenicking one portion of the layout and want to concentrate on that. BTW, as I recall you have a pic of your layout that has a water filled ditch running along side your yard tracks along with some telephone poles. Truth is I would like to download it for further study.

Thanks for the complement. My online gallery is on Railimages:

Our cafeteria at work used to have big bottles of ketchup, mustard and mayo, and they provided small plastic cups for serving them. I think hospitals use something similar to dispense pills to patients. I use these for mixing small quantities of Envirotex. That way, I don’t leave so much lining the sides and bottom of the container.

For small puddles or streams, I use Mod-Podge. It comes in matte and gloss finish. Use the gloss. It looks like thick white glue, but once it dries, it’s non water soluble.
