Are some or even one of them available as a H0 model?
There may be brass, but I wouldn’t expect any in HO Plastic anytime soon - they haven’t been produced in all that large of numbers, and it wouldn’t surprise me if there were a lot of differences even between locomotives with the same designation.
This page has a list of which locomotives Morrison & Knudsen built ‘new’ (they did reuse the frames and trucks) - looks like the MK1500D was the largest volume model, and there seems to be only 32 of them - the other model counts (like the MK2000D) are in the single digits. Brass or Resin territory…
Yes, that’s right. I’m looking for a HB&T or PTRA engine in Houston. They are heavy users of the 1500 model.
